Description:

Lomex-T belongs to a group of peptic ulcer drugs called proton pump blocking agents. The drug reduces acid formation in the stomach, both at rest and in response to any type of stimulation. Lomex-T is used for ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum, and also for inflammatory diseases of the oesophagus due to regurgitation of gastric secretion. Omeprazole is a racemic of two active enantiomers. Lomex-T is fast-acting and effects reversible control of acid secretion when administered once a day.
