Flucloxacillin is a narrow-spectrum antibiotic of the group of isoxazolyl penicillins. Flucloxacillin works by killing the bacteria that can cause infections.

Floxapen is used to treat a wide range of infections caused by bacteria which may include skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, osteomylitis, enteritis, urinary tract infection, meningitis, endocarditis, and septicaemia. Floxapen is also used as a prophylactic agent during major surgical procedures when appropriate; for example cardiothoracic and orthopaedic surgery.

Flucloxacillin sodium equivalent to Flucloxacillin 250mg or 500mg
Flucloxacillin magnesium equivalent to Flucloxacillin 250mg per 5 ml
