Actavis supports St. Joseph Home - St. Venera

Actavis Ltd has recently taken part in an activity to support St. Joseph Home, St. Venera. St. Joseph Home is run by the Missionary Society of St. Paul and currently houses 18 boys of ages between 8 and 18, who for a variety of reasons cannot live at home. The boys live in three separate flats, within the home, according to their age group, thus providing them with a normal home environment with the aim of integrating these boys within society.

Apart from a sponsorship, several volunteers helped out at the home with some projects being undertaken. The volunteers, all Actavis employees, contributed a day of their work to help out in cleaning and painting at St. Joseph Home. Such an activity is in line with Actavis’ strategy to help people who are in need. After the voluntary work, Actavis also sponsored a barbeque that was held at St. Joseph Home together with the staff and children who reside there.

Actavis is one of the world's leading players in the development, manufacture, and sale of first-class generic pharmaceuticals.
