Actavis, the international generic pharmaceutical company, has recently acquired all the rights of two more OTC products from Thornton & Ross Ltd; Orovite tablets and Orovite sachets. These acquisitions continue to strengthen Actavis’ rapidly growing OTC portfolio. The total OTC portfolio is now made up of ten products.
The total medicinal portfolio is set to continue to increase further in 2009, confirming Actavis as the leading generic pharmaceutical company in Malta.
Orovite Tablets and Orovite Sachets are Multivitamins: High potency vitamins B and C
Orovite 7 (the sachets)
• Is a Refreshing Orange tasting drink containing seven essential vitamins
• It is available in packs of 30 tablets
• The sachets are not suitable for children under 5 years of age
• Dose: 1 sachet daily
Orovite tablets
• Are available in packs of 100 tablets
• The tablets are not suitable for children under 12 years
• Dose: 1 tablet daily, three times a day
The vitamins which Orovite contain are:
Vitamin A: important for healthy skin and normal vision
Vitamin B1: necessary for the production of energy from food
Vitamin B2: important for growth and healthy tissue
Vitamin B6: necessary for normal function of the nervous system
Vitamin B3: encourages the conversion of food into energy
Vitamin C: important for growth, healthy gums and healing processes.
