Actavis announces the acquisition of 3 new OTC Products

Actavis, the international generic pharmaceutical company, has recently acquired all the rights of two OTC brands from Thornton & Ross Ltd and Cymex cream from EC de Witt. These acquisitions continue to strengthen Actavis’ rapidly growing OTC portfolio.

The total OTC portfolio is now made up of eight products. The total medicinal portfolio is set to continue to increase further in 2009, confirming Actavis as the leading generic pharmaceutical company in Malta.
Cymalon packshot

Cymalon is indicated for the relief of symptoms due to cystitis in adult females only. Sodium Citrate is used to make the urine alkaline in the treatment of urinary tract infections. Cymalon is available in packs containing 6 sachets.

 


 


Electrolade packshot


Electrolade is used as oral replacement therapy of electrolyte and fluid loss in children and adults arising from dehydration associated with acute diarrhoea. It is available in 2 flavours orange and blackcurrant.
