Description:
The active ingredient, Zolmitriptan has been demonstrated to be a selective agonist for 5HT1B/1D receptors mediating vascular contraction. Zolmitriptan may reduce swelling of blood vessels surrounding your brain that may cause migraine headache pain and also blocks the release of substances from nerve endings that may cause additional pain and other migraine symptoms, such as nausea and sensitivity to light and sound.
