Description:
Sertral belongs to a group of antidepressants called SSRIs. The drug increases the effect of the neurotransmitter serotonin by inhibiting its reuptake in nerve endings in the brain. Thus, Sertral contributes to correcting the imbalance between neurotransmitters in the brain that causes the symptoms of the disease.  Sertral is used for the treatment of depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder in adolescents aged 13 – 17 years.
