Description:
Mirtazapine is a presynaptic α2 antagonist, which increases noradrenergic and serotonergic neurotransmission in the central nervous system. Mirtazapine is used to treat Major depressive episodes. The tablet should be placed on the tongue with dry hands where it is rapidly dissolved. Orodispersible tablets should be taken with water and with or without food.
