Description:
Paxetin belongs to a group of antidepressants. The drug increases the effect of the neurotransmitter serotonin by inhibiting its reuptake in nerve endings in the brain. Thus, Paxetin contributes to correcting the imbalance between neurotransmitters in the brain that causes the symptoms of the disease.  Paxetin is used for the treatment of depression, obsessive compulsive neurosis, panic attacks, social phobia, general anxiety disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.
